MEET THE TEAM
Dave Morrow has been on the QB Youth Team since the beginning of 2011 as team leader and is also the Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Adults at Victoria Point Baptist for the past 3 years. Previously he was a Youth Pastor down in Melbourne for 6 years, and on staff with the Baptist Union of Victoria’s youth department. Dave has an incredible passion for God, young people and seeing God grow youth ministries all over our state, seeing leaders developed and young people saved! He is married to Shardi and has two amazing kids Allegra and Reuben.
Matt Anstey has been on the QB Youth team since mid 2011 and is the Youth and Young Adults Pastor at Gold Coast Christian Family church in Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast. He is passionate about seeing young people meet Jesus and grow in their journey of faith in Him. He’s been involved in youth ministry for over 15 years both in Aus and the UK. He enjoys life with his beautiful wife Kirsten and has lots of fun with his three kids, Micaela, Leah and Simeon. He’s a bit of a runner (although not built for it), plays touch footie, enjoys having a laugh with mates and loves watching Friday Night Footy after youth… especially when the Titans win!
Emily Twible has been on the QB Youth team since May 2010 as the Youth Administrator. She provides support to Youth Pastors & Leaders through various administrative tasks and also looks after the promotion/communication and organisation of events. Emily attends The Grove Baptist Community Church and is just beginning her journey into youth ministry and is studying at Malyon college part time. Em loves her music and you’ll often find her sitting in a coffee shop chatting with friends.
