We as Queensland Baptists want to share the love of Jesus Christ with a lost world…. Vision: A family of churches totally dedicated to God, to one another and to the World. Purpose: To extend the Kingdom of God by assisting each local church to develop and achieve its own vision under God and to achieve together what individual churches cannot do alone.
A personal message from David Loder, General Superintendent:
As Queensland Baptists, we understand the importance of ministry to the lost. We understand it, and we hold the same value and desire to see our nation and the nations of the world come to know Jesus Christ.
I wonder if you are aware of the direct impact we are having throughout Queensland? Through our joint efforts as Queensland Baptists, we are seeing up to 27,000 men, women and children in our churches every Sunday! Praise God – it is exciting to reflect on the outcome of our hard work.
May the Lord help you to have a good day!
David Loder (Rev Dr) General Superintendent
Our history:
The first Baptist Church in Queensland dates to August 1855. Since then, Queensland Baptists have continued to work together in Christ to fulfil the Great Commandment (Matt 22:34-40) and the Great Commission (Matt 28:16-20).
